Returns & Refund Policy
Thank you for purchasing original artwork from Shamalee Rajapakse Studio. Because each painting is original and carefully handled, the following return guidelines apply.
Original Artwork — General Policy
All original artwork sales are considered final sales unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of original paintings, we are unable to accept returns for reasons such as:
Change of mind
Size preference
Color variation due to screen display
Room or décor mismatch
Please review artwork details, dimensions, and images carefully before making a purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your artwork arrives damaged in transit, you may request a replacement (if available) or a refund.
To qualify:
You must contact us within 7 days of delivery
Provide your order number
Provide clear photos of:
The damaged artwork
The packaging
The shipping label

Do not discard packaging until your claim is reviewed.
Shipping Damage Resolution
If damage is confirmed:
A refund or replacement will be issued
Return shipping (if required) will be covered
Claims are processed after carrier verification when applicable
Commissioned Artwork
All commissioned works are non-refundable and non-returnable once work has begun.
Approval checkpoints and previews are provided during the commission process to ensure satisfaction before final delivery.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if the artwork has not yet shipped.
After shipment, orders cannot be canceled.

Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
Processing time: 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
Shipping fees are non-refundable except in verified damage cases.
