Growing up in the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, I've always been surrounded by nature, which inspires my
art. For me, creating art is not just a favorite hobby; it’s a big part of who I am and what I want to do with
my life. I believe in the saying, “We lose ourselves in things we love. We find ourselves there, too,”
which perfectly describes my return to the creative activities I enjoyed as a child.

Every time I paint, I start a journey filled with stories, emotions, and imagination. It’s a special feeling to realize that my view of the world can turn into a painting. I hope my artwork can connect with people deeply, allowing them to see their own feelings and thoughts reflected in what I create. This connection drives my creativity and connects me to the world of abstract art.

Color is an important part of my work, but it’s the interesting shapes and lines that give my paintings life. I use oil, acrylic paints and other mediums because they let me play with different textures and styles, which makes my artwork richer and more engaging. Each brushstroke adds to a bigger story filled with meaning and emotion.

In conclusion, my art aims to explore colors and forms while highlighting the beauty in our daily lives. Through my paintings, I want to capture the stunning details and feelings I notice in the world, inviting viewers to join me on their own journey of exploration and reflection.
